We all know that the world’s climate has been changing of late. We in Singapore have experience unusual huge amounts of rain, while Australia is in a long drought. Russia and Germany are not having a white christmas due to warmer weather. Ski resorts don’t have any snow for vacation seekers to ski and it has been warned that by 2039 there might not be any left as the climate is too warm to have snow.(Straits Times 27-01-2007)
So with all these happening, what can we as earthlings do? Push for better methods of using energy and reducing greenhouse gases.
Just read a report from the guardian that the United States answer to global warming would be placing reflective materials in the high atmosphere or giant mirrors in space to reflect the sun’s rays coming into earth. This is bad, as who would control these mirrors even if they were to work? It would be best for us all to just find ways to remove the greenhouse gases and stop emitting them out to the world.

That’s the best solution, at least we know that those methods would work. If everything was working fine before a change was made, why not just remove that change to return back to status quo. Looking at conditions these days, we really need to change our ways.
