Tried Blinklist.com - here are my findings
Life eXperiences, Technology, Software, Internet January 9th, 2006A while back, I posted an entry saying that I would test out Blinklist.com. Now after using Blinklist for sometime, I guess I should write about my feelings of blinklist.com.

The “blinking” experience with Blinklist.com
- Love the user interface, very simple and nice
- I am guessing they use Ajax for their pages to provide nice user experience ?
- 3 step signup process making it a breeze
- Upon registration you can use the account immediately. But an activation email will be sent to confirm your subscription to Blinklist.com (Good or bad you decide - I find it troublesome)
- Search bar offers 3 search options “Public - bookmarked websites on Blink by others”, “My list - sites which I have bookmarked” & “Google - sites on Google.com”)
- Search bar also provides advance search features
- additional options, “Invite friends to join”, “Friends & fans watchlist (Not really sure what is the Fans feature for)”.
- Bookmarking links are the same as delicioius, on top of that - it has send links to friends and make it private tag.
- Can discover what your friends are blinking (Beware what you Blink as public, it could bite you!!)
- Ability to quick link other’s bookmarked sites
- Vote for links & rate links feature is great
- Importing of delicious,furl & browser links
- Easy installation of bookmarklet to browsers like IE & Firefox. It even has a plug-in for Firefox.
Things I didn’t like/understand about Blinklist.com
- Should have suggestion tags when adding links (like delicious)
- Tag management was rather confusing (I some how got abit lost understanding how it works, maybe it’s just me)
Overall, I like blinklist it will grow better once it goes live. The team has really done a nice job, great work guys. There is also a healthy number of people using blinklist, which is quite good. So if you are not on blinklist today, why not go give it a try. I have it installed on both my browsers.
