Did you receive weird spam calls from mandrain speaking people?
Life eXperiences September 27th, 2007Recently, I have been receiving loads of spam phones calls (3-4 times a week) from a so called hong kong based departmental store. They start with a survey about brands, which sounds pretty legit. Next they would invite you to go down to their new outlet opening in KL, Malaysia. The rest is for you to imagine.
Now I am wondering how in the world did they get my mobile number? These people are really getting very sophisticated, they are willing to spend overseas charges just to con the sh*t out of people.
Apparently this was around a few years already, but somehow its picking up again…. Anyone else been receiving these calls?

i received one from ‘hilton’
and another from HP. all from china.. scam calls..

no, i didnt receive such calls before. But I do hear many stories as such. These people really too much money to spare. Maybe they earn alot from those silly people who believe in them? sigh.. i hope they get their retribution. lol

Eh I did today. So they asked if I spoke Chinese. I replied “Sorry, what did you just say?” and they HUNG UP on me. Stupid idiots!
